Knot Nannies was created from a simple belief: children deserve thoughtful care, even during life’s most elegant celebrations.

Founder Michelle Jackson was born and raised in West Michigan, where family, community, and meaningful gatherings are a central part of life. As a mother of three, Michelle understands how important it is for parents to be able to fully enjoy milestone moments while knowing their children are safe, engaged, and cared for.

With more than seven years of leadership experience in early childhood education as both a Team Lead and Lead Teacher, Michelle has spent much of her career creating structured, nurturing environments where children can thrive. She is a Certified Behavioral Technician with experience applying Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, bringing a calm, organized approach to working with children in a variety of settings. Michelle also holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification, and maintains current First Aid and CPR certification.

The idea for Knot Nannies grew from Michelle’s professional experience and her own perspective as a parent. She saw how special events and weddings include children, yet parents are left balancing celebration with supervision. Knots Nannies was designed to change that - offering professional, on-site, childcare that allows families to remain present for the moments that matter most.

Today, Knot Nannies proudly serves private events and weddings throughout West Michigan and beyond, creating calm, engaging spaces for children while seamlessly blending into the atmosphere of each celebration.

For Michelle, Knot Nannies is more than a service - it’s a way to support families during some of the most meaningful days of their lives.
